      hi Julian! yes, and this was the run-off. I did not appreciate the outcome of the U.S. Senate race, I wanted Mary Landrieu to win and she did not. happy week to you all, love, susanna

    Mary! We just finished watching "It's A Wonderful Life". Maren always cringes towards the end when George is looking for Mary... "she's just closing up the local library!" Like being a librarian is so bad. LOL. Too bad your choice of senator didn't win.

      thanks, yes, the image of the poor ruined spinster librarian is pretty strongly reinforced by good-old Mary/Donna Reed. That's what she would have done if there had been no George/Jimmy Stewart to save her from it. haha! I remember thinking, well, at least she made a living! love, susanna
