Hi Glenn, thanks, those morning glories seemed to be illuminated. everything has been so beautiful these last few days.. this one was Sat. around 1:00 pm, same as the 2 girls sitting near the edge of the river. On the news, they referred to the crowd at the Fly as "River Gawkers". The water is not only high, but going really fast. thanks, sp

  3. Dear T., I'm glad you like them, they are my favorite too. These, I would call semi-cultivated or semi-natural, but they put on quite a show for no effort on anyone's part. You might have seen some articles about our New Orleans flood-anxiety, like this one,, and subconsciously in New Orleans we will always have the rising water as an emotional trigger. But personally, I do not consciously find the situation any more anxiety-producing than watching Treme. But at the same time we do feel so much empathy for those in the path of the intentional flooding. thanks for your comment, sp
