the leaning house came down today

Thank God!  it was finally taken "down to the dirt" by Demo Diva.    This house has been visibly leaning into the street for over a year (see my earlier photo from May 2010), being propped up by boards which would not have held a whole big long house...  an extremely dangerous situation.  The Entergy workers had come out because there was a report of the smell of gas, after the major demolition.  The neighbors were in their doorways to see what was going on.    Everyone is relieved that the house didn't simply fall down on its own.
