Hi Aleph, It's nice to hear from you, I love your abstract photography. I hope you enjoyed your winter walk listening to the hot music. About Mandina's, I don't know if I would have thought of the word "cozy" since it's pretty loud, and filled with lots of sociable, happy people, gratefully eating fried seafood. I like the clean bright reflections on the windows, and the neon sign itself, but my favorite part of this one is the pink neon line along the top. see you later, sp
That picture reminds me of Lee Friedlander, who took a lot of pictures with reflections in windows. It's interesting to see the car, the buildings, and the trees, though I can't see you!
Good morning K, At the top, that's another line of neon going along the edge of the roof. I think neon lights and signs look good all the 24 hours of the day. thanks, and enjoy the holiday! sp
it´s a nice photo, i like the reflections in the windows, the curtains and the sort of contrast with the neon letters. seems cozy inside.

ReplyDeleteI'm cleverly standing in front of the non-reflecting partition.
ReplyDeleteThe colors at the very top echo the colors on the curtains, but I can't figure out the light source. Where do they come from?
