  2. Hi Glenn, Isn't that the truth! It's a riddle, the truck never moves but somehow isn't getting dirty. today is beautiful, and I hope you enjoy getting some fresh air. thanks, sp

  3. Oh, I'm getting fresh air. Bob's already dropped a flower pot on the balcony. Mud and cracked clay everywhere.

  4. Time to go back to Lowes! Just so long as the flower-pot doesn't get dropped FROM the balcony...

  5. Sometimes life is like that: A big shiny powerful truck that can't move a foot because a nail got in the way.

  6. Hi K! I have to agree with you about that. But the New Orleans wintertime late afternoon spotlight sunshine will make almost anything look beautiful. My nephew Julian posted photos of the Seattle snow, so I know you must be feeling pretty chilly back at home. thanks, sp

  7. I thought maybe the post title was meant to draw a metaphorical comparison between the two images. But then I think too much...

  8. Hi Rick, I welcome all metaphorical comparisons. but the title was literal (that truck has been sitting in that exact spot for many moons), and then the second photo was taken at the same time from the same spot, so to me the link between the two pictures is the effect made by the sunshine. Please think all you want, & thanks, sp
