  1. good title! remember the gorgeous tree-lined, grassy medians in the Gables? Those big north-south wide ones stick in my mind [when you were on Coral Way headed east and crossed Red Road (57th?)].

  2. Hi Molly, yes, I remember how that looked, there is some similarity. where there are big trees, that's thought of as a good neighborhood. I can't take much credit for the post title, that's the expression here. thanks, sp

  3. Note to Glenn, your comment got to my yahoo mail 3 hours ago, so I think it got lost in the void. but thanks, I liked it so I'll quote you: "I find this picture strangely soothing - which is really bizarre considering how people drive down here ;-)" we try to drive well, but they don't exactly draw the lines on the road really well. It made me think of the lovely statement by M. Folse, "I will have to console myself that once I make it past Causeway, escape onto the 610 at West End Boulevard and make my exit at St. Bernard, I can admire the way everyone gracefully navigates the complex intersection of St. Bernard, Gentilly, Paris, and DeSaix." I actually drive through it in a different lane so I can navigate it more gracefully, and reduce the chance of somebody not noticing that there is actually a stop light there. thanks Glenn, sp

    1. LOL, I once found myself at that intersection. I panicked. I have no idea how I managed to get home that day.
