You could write a book about what's happening in this sequence of pictures; but that would defeat the purpose, wouldn't it? This is a bittersweet meditation, appropriate for the season. Thank you.
thanks Glenn, I was hoping you would like it. Life is heartwrenching, it's hard even to take the news on tv some days. But I think that the beauty of it, and the love, always balance it out in our experiences, if only in the long run. It's a new month with lots to look forward to. sp
You're right, of course; and life is all those contradictory things (and more!). When all is said and done, I wouldn't have it any other way. And, yes, beauty and love are always there for us, sometimes hidden, but always waiting.
that's sweet, Glenn. that's also why we don't run out of photographic subjects, the whole thing just keeps rolling. thanks, sp
Nice pictures, full of poetry, yes, a beautiful sequence with the lives of those flowers. I wish him well. Greetings.
Beautiful pics SP!Oh, my Japanese Maple isn't dead! It's FULL of green leaves! Now, if I can just get it through another hot NOLA summer, I may get some flowers.
Hi bc! I'm so glad you like these. Wow, your tulip tree came back to life? Where there's life there's hope. And now we have the azaleas on display everywhere. have fun, thanks, sp
Hi Leovi, thank you! this is poetry that "visual" people are able to compose. (and I'm extremely grateful for the sense of sight). I appreciate hearing from you. sp
