    Hi Susanna! We've been following the devastation and flooding in Texas with Hurricane Harvey. Amazing how close in date this is to when Katrina hit 12 years ago. I hope all is well where you are. -Julian

      dear Julian, hi & thanks, we are fine from Harvey and I'm glad that Amber got her power back. There was a hurricane (Isaac) 5 years ago that landed here on Katrina Day. I hope they will stay out in the Atlantic for the rest of the season. happy new school year, love, susanna

    Keeping an eye on Irma now, too... Aurora wants to know why we name Hurricanes, and Clark seems pretty certain every Hurricane is named Harvey.

      hi Amber! I am inviting your parents here and I'm sure they could figure out a way to Austin, but I hope Irma reduces its strength. They used to call all hurricanes by female names but Harvey was a boy and was terrible. love, susanna
