  1. Wow. Everything in this shot looks like it could be knocked over by a breath of air! (I'm sure it's sturdier than it appears!)

  2. That house looks like it's going to be beautiful when it's done being remodeled. I love the columns - does it have a good view of something off those balconies?

  3. Hi Rick, Thanks, that's so funny. I would imagine that the actual house is very sturdy, but the mixed-metaphor column decorations look a little flimsy. I don't know exactly how much good the little strips of wood are doing.. they and the ladder would go down in a breeze. But this somehow gives me vertigo. sp

Hi Ellen, Thanks, and yes, the view would be beautiful, filled with high-density huge old trees and huge old houses on a street near Audubon Park. sp

  5. Good morning Marguerite, Thanks, that makes me feel better! I've been telling everybody to look at your most recent recipe, they're always delicious, savory or sweet. This one I have actually only enjoyed vicariously. sp

  7. Hi Andrew, Thanks for commenting! I was driving down that street again last evening, and it looks a little more involved now. I'm sure it will be beautiful. sp
