Dear Glenn, Don't get me started-- this is supposed to be a "fire-arm free zone"!! Have you tried to drive around town this week? It seems to be the largest crowd for 10 years, if you count if by cars. thanks, sp
Parking, especially "event" parking, is one of the most daunting problems in N.O. on an ordinary day! I hope you have the opportunity to get a good spot, and then just leave it parked! you'll be looking forward to Ash Wednesday. thanks, sp
Hi Marguerite, thanks so much! actually, right now there's a line of severe thunderstorms going through... quite a scene trying to make groceries. driving around town, or even out here in Gentilly, is pretty dangerous with all the happy revelers from out of town not necessarily keeping their cars within the lines. then the pouring rain adds to the excitement. So I'm glad to be back in the house! after today, everything will be brighter. sp
Congratulations! You got away with taking a picture of a cop ;-) Sussah, Sussah? Are you there, Sussah? Uh-oh ...

ReplyDeleteI have had to drive around this week. Not much, but enough. Count yourself lucky you don't have to try to find a parking spot in the lower Quarter.

ReplyDeleteGreat shot! I would imagine that New Orleans is hoppin', right about, now. Have fun!
