take a deep breath

blimp over Filmore

  1. Ah, the blimp. That must be the reason we kept losing television reception over our Directv satellite dish.

  2. Good morning Glenn, I like when blimps appear in the sky, it happens just infrequently enough to be a little exciting. I suppose the French Quarter will settle down just in time for mardi gras... time for a walk in City Park, along the once and future golf-cart paths. thanks, sp

  4. Hi Marguerite, Happy New Year! the other day we took this leisurely walk, and everything was heavenly. Today, the sky is still this same blue, and the sun feels good, but it's a little too cold. I guess you can't have everything all at once! thanks, sp

  6. Hi Rick, that's funny, I hope nobody has to try that. I like to see the blimps, here is another one from last year. the title of my current post is really the title of the 2nd shot, it's how it makes me feel to be out in the fresh air with a big sky. thanks, sp

  7. SP, the blimp flew so low around here that, we could actually see the movie playing on it!

  8. Hi bc, I saw it again today too! I guess they need those beautiful aerial shots of New Orleans for the Saints game. I liked the one they showed at the beginning of the game, the nighttime video, speeded up. I have the computer going right now because the Saints make me nervous. It's 7-7 at the moment. enjoy!& thanks, sp
