We've enjoyed making comments on each others' photo-blogs, and writing-blogs, so I've tried to fix the settings to enable comments, by request/hint from Bigezbear, whose wish is my command.  I welcome comments all the way through mixed.

It's not apparent to me that the change in settings has worked, but maybe magically, overnight, blogspot will go through some sort of cycle. Love, Susanna (sussah)

  2. I am here too, Sussah! Ready to fill your blog with my awkward non-native English! (Barbarian Invasion!)

  3. It worked! I'll say it again: Love your aesthetic!

Now, if you would consider giving each entry a heading, they would be even easier to link to...

  4. K, slap me down if I'm out of line and you already know this, but the "Time Stamp" is the permalink that will isolate each entry for easier reference. On the other hand, I do have a thing for headlines.

  5. Thanks so much to all of you for your messages this morning! Hearing from you makes me so happy. I usually have some sort of caption which I can put as the post title, so I selected a smaller font-- I certainly appreciate having the N.O. photographs being seen by more people. with love, sp

  6. Just don't become despondent or morose when someone doesn't leave a comment. Sometimes they just can't think of anything to say ;-) As for me? Been there, done that.

  7. The only way I'd be despondent or morose is if somebody said horrible things about me, and then there's probably a way to delete the comment, I hope. It's true that if you go outside your comfort zone in the blogosphere, there will be somebody there to knock your head off or call you a fascist wing-nut, but I'm pretty sure there aren't too many photography police who would have time or inclination for this sort of thing. Same to you Glenn, if there aren't comments, people are just busy... I can hardly imagine hard feelings with you, unless it's from the roller derby crowd, or Julia Roberts in a dream. sp

  8. Julia Roberts is the spawn of Satan!

    Sorry, that just came out.

Getting back to the matter at hand: There is a way to delete cruel comments or spam. When you are signed into your Google account and you go to your blog and look at your comments, you will see a little trash-can icon at the end of each one. Just click on that, and it's gone.

  9. Yay for comments! I couldn't delete spam, and I started to get a ton of it...usually on old posts. That is why my comments are set at "approve".

  10. After re-reading what Glenn just said...I guess I could delete spam. Maybe I just couldn't keep up with it? This is kind of fun rambling on someone else's blog!
