  2. We're glad you and so many others made it through Katrina - we were all so very worried about you.

  3. Good morning Ellen, Thanks & I appreciate that. I remember at the time, you told me on the phone "I'm glad you got out" which was so direct and to the point, and needed. love, sp

  4. SP, I read your Katrina post. It left me speechless.
I find that, I'm having a hard time finishing mine. My therapist might have something to say about that.

  5. Dear bc, You have gone way above and beyond the call of duty, I imagine you have a little overload of howling in the wires! You are in a very elite club of people who have read my Superdome memoir. It means so much to me. You will finish writing your Katrina story when the time is right. I like your style! thanks, sp

  7. Hi K! I'm glad you arrived in good shape & I thought your first Irish photograph yesterday was especially beautiful. I understand the desire to amend or intensify colors, remove colors, etc., but the reason mine are usually natural is because I love the way the sight really looks to me. Being nearsighted, I'm especially grateful for sharply corrected vision, so the outcome is plain and simple photo-realism rather than a painterly interpretation of a scene. The 5-year Katrina Day on Sunday went well but Gov. Jindal criticized President Obama since his speech at Xavier Univ. centered on the rebuilding of New Orleans, instead of the oil spill. But it was a Katrina Day speech! Oh well.... thanks & have a lovely vacation, sp

  9. Dear Peter, Thanks very much! I'm so glad you looked in at my life & at New Orleans. Katrina Day itself (Sunday) was dreary, but the whole entire 5 years fills me with love and gratitude, so those clouds and the sky are my way of saying what is in my heart. come back and visit/comment whenever you can! sp
