  3. Love the self-portrait. Nice camera, is that a digital SLR? Might N.O. be impacted with Miss. rising?

  4. Hi Marguerite, Thanks, I thought maybe that was a word I didn't know! I tell you what, I had so much fun I was transported up to the next level, especially with the parade. and of course, I got my usual soft-shell crab po-boy, and later a large cream-ice-cream-flavor yellow snowball with condensed milk topping. There is no way to eat these things without getting all sticky. What a wonderful day, and I am sure you will have fun there, just protect from the sun. sp

  5. Hi Molly, thanks, yes I love my new camera. Last year's Jazzfest Thursday photos were with film, and now I am liberated. We've been hearing that the spillways upriver in Louisiana might need to be opened before the crest of the river at New Orleans. have a good weekend, sp

  6. Dear Glenn, thanks so much... the vendors probably would have preferred it if I bought some of their jewelry, but the only souvenir I ended up buying was a pack of Congo post cards to bring home for my husband. And of course the treats... that doesnt count-- ya gotta eat, right? I appreciate your sweet comment. this JazzFest was a wonderful experience for me, and I'm grateful for it. sp

  8. Dear bc, So glad to hear from you & thanks. I saw some kids there with purple t-shirts from St. Aug, and glanced around to see if you guys might be there. In fact it's so nice that the school groups go on the Thursday, it's quite an education!! And so many choices for music and food. Happy Mother's Day, sp
