What a sweet comment, Glenn. thanks very much. Those dark clouds are saving us from the heat wave, but I'm always scared about the streets flooding up. It's wonderful to be home when the weather is like this. have a good evening, sp
You too Marguerite, thanks & I appreciate hearing from you. Your blog is so popular that it must be a full-time job to take care of all your readers! But regarding this weather, somehow it has been reminding me of that summer weather when Pope John Paul II visited New Orleans, and gave a Papal Mass at the UNO Lakefront. (researching it, I find that was held on Sat. Sept. 12, 1987, which doesn't seem so long ago). It was so hot that officials predicted there would be deaths-- indeed there were no deaths because there was a terrible thunderstorm. These dark clouds really help out, as long as the rain amounts are not too high and too fast! sp
What a brooding landscape. Lovely.

ReplyDeleteGreat pic! It has been nice to have slightly cooler temps, but the humidity is so high! Guess it's a trade off. Have a splendid Sunday!
