Hi Molly, I can't always explain. But I thought this was beautiful. It's only one month until the Katrina anniversary, it's a philosophical time of year. thanks, sp (it's a phone stand by the sidewalk)
Reminds me of some of the signs in Ireland -- instead of "for lease" or "for rent" in shop windows, they say "to let". Can you imagine how tempted I was to insert an "i" in the middle of those two words?!!
Dear T., that's your inner child, but it was mature of you to hold back. First I saw the "one day" on a one-way sign on a more major street that would have been troublesome to take a picture of, but this one was a lot easier. I wonder how many of these there are. thanks for looking in, sp
Someone has now successfully scraped off the little poster in the center photo. It seems they had tried once before, by the scrapings on it. What I'd like to know is, why is the 1990s empty phone stand there at all?
??? middle photo ???
