    There sure are a lot of fun looking places in your town! This one reminds me of Deschatel's in Treme.

    They would like the comparison, but it's "downscale" from there. More like the kind of place where the neighbors roll out of bed and get a delicious breakfast. On Sat. we had lunch there, and I got eggs sardou, fresh fruit and the kind of coffee that will go to your brain-- really great. The house has a contented feeling to it, and certainly I have good associations from the times I've been there. thanks, sp

    We don't have a lot of upscale places around here that serve eggs sardou! As for the downscale places, bananas on Cheerios passes for gourmet cuisine.
