Wow, it's taken a long time for those houses to be fixed up, but it looks like they're going to be nice when they're done! What a stately, pretty area. You sure can say a lot in just three words.
Thanks, Ellen! We've got stately ... but functional, not so much. After Katrina, when Sally asked me how long I thought it would take to fix the city, I had said "5 to 10 years". It will be more than five, since the fifth anniversary is this Aug. 29. There are a lot of unfixable buildings that still need to be demolished. sp
