    Why does the second picture remind me of when I was a child in grammar school being taught to crawl under my desk in the event the Russians launched a nuclear attack?

    Maybe just the associations of the word "disaster" and the funereal black theme. In fact, what that thing (the bus stop shelter) reminded me of, was the 1st attempt BP made, when they put that house-sized containment dome over the broken pipe. I think they should get that out again... it was surely the best idea, being enormous and all. sp
