  1. Hi Sussah! I can't help seing a sort of "brotherhood" betwen this post and Rick's "Progress".
Oh, I must hurry now. I saw blue, yellow and green on your pictures - the game will begin shortly.
    Love,
    Cláudia.

  2. Hi Claudia, Enjoy the game! I know, these guys are bringing out my masculine side, but the middle picture is more feminine, and I want to point out the hydreangeas in the foreground to Rick. I like having you back, sp

  3. I've been hearing about the parking lot situation vis a vis Summer Lyric and the Shakespeare Festival. Good thing I don't go to the theatre ;-) As for the middle picture, beautiful. I'd love to sit there and snooze over a good book.

  4. Hi Glenn, If you can find a parking spot in the neighborhood, please do come and enjoy the view at the benches. Now they've brought in a crane so incredibly large that you simply have to see it to believe it, to build a new dorm on Willow St. The peace and quiet used to be the advantage of the summertime-- now there's no peace, no quiet, just the Warmth! sp

  5. LOL, that's it, what I love about your point of view, your insistence on a silver lining: "Warmth"! That's wonderful!

  6. PS, I'm making a joke here about the heat, but the fact is, I've been spending hours outside reading lately (in between showers and thunderstorms). As hot as it's been, it's nice in the shade ;-)

  7. Hi Glenn, It's nice when there's a whole day with thick cloud cover and a little rain to cool things off and wash things off, and make the air conditioners work better. But I love so much being outside. I used to take long walks at lunchtime, and I became less heat tolerant a few years ago. But the oxygen and the scenery, and the openness, are so superior outside, that I'll push it to the limit. sp
