  2. Hi Glenn, Reading the word "sno-balls" makes me want one! Soon for sure, either up here at Plum Street (working today), or near home, on Elysian Fields just past Brother Martin. The only one I've had so far this year was a JazzFest. thanks, sp

  3. Do you suppose the owners of the yellow house wear sunglasses all the time? That is some color.

What is the flower in bloom in the last photo?

Alas, I rarely see sno-balls for sale in NH. More than enough snowballs in winter but no summer-cooling treats.

  4. Hi Molly, This photo of the yellow house doesn't quite do it justice. It's yellower than that. It looks like they are fixing the house and haven't moved back in yet. Very vivid whatever the lighting conditions. The dark pink flowering tree is a crepe myrtle. These bloom all across the southeast, all summer long. If the blossoms are knocked off by rain, they bloom again. Colors include white, several shades of pink, and several shades of purple. thanks, sp

  5. dear Sissah,

I am into hot colors lately. I just framed a poster
called," Girl with floral hat", by Alexej von
Jawlenshy. There is some green, though. It looks
    good in my bathroom. sg
