sky-light

  1. Hi Glenn, It didn't require any difficult climbing on rooftops to get to this vantage point. It was from one of the new parking garages at Lakeside. The white lights remind me of the swirling refracted lights from swimming pools, or in the water by the shoreline on a white sand beach. sp

  3. Thanks so much K.! I appreciate that. The world looks that way to me when I have the right contact lenses. sp

  4. The white lights do look like there's a hidden swimming pool up there. This shows a more modern view of New Orleans. I think the perception of New Orleans is usually "still struggling after Katrina" or "Mardi Gras." There are obviously more facets to New Orleans than meet the eye.

  5. Hi Ellen, You're making me think of a rooftop pool in Miami, from when we were in (junior?) high school. and yes, there are many more facets to New Orleans than you will see on tv. thanks for commenting, sussah

  6. It was the Dupont Plaza Hotel pool for Margie Menzel's birthday party. Unfortunately, the Dupont Plaza got torn down several years ago.

  7. Thanks, Ellen, you have a good memory. I have forgotten a lot of specific facts like that... my memory was only of how my hair looked underwater. sp
