  1. ahh, a menu! Boy, you would never know the site had another building there. Sure cleaned up nice after the demolition (link to article post). I didn't understand the "The Boot" sign under the Coca-Cola sign. Have a good weekend and upcoming solstice.

  2. Hi Molly, thanks, this is a block in back of the main library at Tulane. The Boot is a student bar, next door to the crepes shop. In the 90s, there used to be a coffee shop on that corner. Across the street, the empty space is a big improvement. have a good weekend, our solstice is a heat wave. sp

  4. Hi Marguerite, The crepe shop is very appetizing, and I need to go by and try it again soon. Also, we liked the EcoCafe on Canal Street, which we tried for the first time last weekend. We did get some good rain yesterday, and more is predicted today, so the house can stay a lot cooler when the sun is behind clouds. Luckily, the building where I work is nice and cool too. have a good day & thanks, sp
